Gabrielle Lacey

Gabrielle is a newly qualified Solicitor who has completed her training contract, gaining experience across the firm’s Intellectual Property, Corporate, Employment, and Commercial practices. Through her training, she has worked with a range of clients, including start-ups, growth-stage businesses, and established companies, supporting them on both transactional and advisory matters.

Her experience includes assisting on corporate transactions within the fintech sector, where she has supported legal due diligence exercises and assisted on matters relating to the acquisition process. Gabrielle has also been involved in employment-related matters, including providing support on TUPE transfers arising from corporate restructurings and business acquisitions, as well as assisting with employment-related documentation and advisory work.

In addition, Gabrielle has supported clients on a range of commercial arrangements, including licensing agreements and broader commercial contracts. She has also assisted with intellectual property due diligence in connection with corporate transactions, helping to identify and assess key intellectual property assets and potential legal risks. Through this work, she has developed an understanding of how intellectual property rights, commercial arrangements, and corporate structures interact within business operations and transactions.

During her training, Gabrielle has developed a strong understanding of the legal processes within a business environment and how legal considerations intersect with commercial decision-making. She has gained knowledge of the practical and procedural aspects of corporate transactions, employment processes, and the management of intellectual property within organisations, enabling her to contribute effectively to matters that require coordination across multiple legal disciplines.

Gabrielle qualified as a solicitor in April 2026.

Outside of work, Gabrielle enjoys baking and spending time outdoors, particularly hiking and skiing.
